Privacy Policy

1. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE

The data controller for the TalentKick app and website is TalentKick, Maltepe Mahallesi 511. Sokak No: 30, Adapazarı/Sakarya, Türkiye ("TalentKick", "we"). Contact: info@talentkick.net.

2. EDITING WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT

You can edit and export without an account. Your projects, imported clips and exports stay on your device. We don't upload them unless you publish an edit.

3. WHAT WE COLLECT

Account data (if you sign in):

  • your sign-in identifier from Apple, Google or email (Apple may give us a private relay address);
  • display name, username, profile photo and bio you choose;
  • when you accepted the Terms and which version.

Content you publish:

  • edits you post (video and poster image), captions, and the template used;
  • likes, comments, follows, and reports you file.

Device and technical data:

  • push notification token, device platform and app language, so we can deliver notifications in your language;
  • basic diagnostic information when you report a problem (app version and platform).

Purchases:

  • if you subscribe to Pro, our subscription provider receives an anonymous app user ID (linked to your account ID if you sign in) and the store's purchase records. We never see your payment card details; Apple or Google handle payment.

We do not sell your personal data and we don't use advertising trackers.

4. WHY WE USE IT AND LEGAL BASES

  • To provide the Service: accounts, publishing, the feed, comments, follows and notifications (performance of our contract with you).
  • To provide Pro and restore purchases (contract).
  • To keep the community safe: moderating content, handling reports, copyright complaints and appeals (legitimate interests and legal obligations).
  • To fix problems and improve the app (legitimate interests).
  • To send push notifications you can switch off in Settings (consent / legitimate interests).

5. WHO WE SHARE IT WITH

We use service providers who process data on our behalf:

  • Google Firebase (authentication, database, notifications, cloud functions; EU region where available);
  • Cloudflare R2 (storage and delivery of published videos);
  • RevenueCat (subscription management);
  • Apple and Google (sign-in, app stores and payments).

Published edits, your username, name, photo and bio are public and can be seen by anyone, including people without an account and on shared links (talentkick.net/v/…).

We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users and TalentKick.

6. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

Our providers may process data outside your country, including outside Türkiye and the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses and the legal mechanisms available under Turkish law (KVKK) and the GDPR.

7. HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

  • Account and published content: until you delete them or your account.
  • When you delete your account, your profile, published edits, follows and username are removed; related Auth records are deleted automatically. Backups roll over within 30 days.
  • Reports, moderation and appeal records: up to 2 years, longer if needed for legal claims.
  • Purchase records: as required by tax and accounting law.

8. YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on where you live (for example under KVKK Article 11 or the GDPR), you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent. You can delete your account in the app under Settings. For other requests, email info@talentkick.net; we respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your data protection authority (in Türkiye, the Personal Data Protection Authority, KVKK).

9. CHILDREN

TalentKick is not intended for children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, contact us and we'll delete it.

10. SECURITY

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and access is limited by security rules. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password if you sign in with email.

11. CHANGES

We'll post changes here and update the date above. Material changes will be announced in the app.
